Creating floral displays and sustainable planting

We are a voluntary residents group formed in September 2009 and supported by Knutsford Town Council.  Our aim is it to create a floral Knutsford and encourage local sustainable planting projects in and around our town.  

We would like to invite anyone interested in all things floral, green and environmental to join in and help us to do as much as possible.  Perhaps help in a major planting project in a group.  If you don't already have a garden at your school, why not ask about creating one with the help of parents and teachers.  You could keep your street weed and litter free.  You may already be making the most of your front garden, or perhaps you would like some advice, inspiration or help. 

If you are a manager or owner of a shop, pub or restaurant in the town, hanging a hanging basket outside your premises would make a massive contribution to the town's overall look and would not only make you feel good, but would improve the look of the town for both residents and visitors, which will encourage more visitors and their purses!
